Upon reading this title you likely saw the cover art of Radiohead’s album in your mind, heard the playfully aggressive narration of a Skittles commercial or maybe even felt a tinge of excitement flutter in the pit of your stomach from the sense of the possibility of discovering a colorful story of an acid trip— or are even fondly now remembering one of your own. Whatever the case, this is a perfect illustration of subjective reality and the effect of not only titles of work, but also perceptions of the work itself.
